Quail Creek Bank is full of dedicated individuals committed to giving back to the community.
March of Dimes funds research to prevent premature births and funds programs to assist babies born prematurely to have a fighting chance at a healthy life. Why is Quail Creek Bank so committed? In August 2008, the daughter of one of our own loan officers was just 24 weeks pregnant with triplets when she went into premature labor. Baby Grace was stillborn, baby Olivia lived five weeks, and baby Betsy weighed in at one pound, nine ounces and twelve inches long (her eyes were not even open). Betsy was in the NICU for 4 months and today she is a healthy, very active three-and-a-half-year-old with no lingering health problems. Doctors said her chances of survival at birth were less than 50%. This is proof the miracles of March of Dimes provides families. During the month of April, QCB participates in a four week fundraising program that ranges from silent auctions full of items donated by both employees and local businesses to selling employee lunches and desserts.
